Today we watched videos on SketchUp. SketchUp is an app on the computer that we are going to use to create a 3D model of our set. We learned how to make objects and hive the color or texture.

Today we all got our scripts for the floor plan design that we will be doing. Everybody read through their scripts and got an idea of what we would want our floor plans to look like.

Theatre I 4th Period

Today we started off by doing our bell ringer talking about giving your all at rehearsals. Then, we went over some jobs such as house manager, publicity manager, etc. and took notes on them. We ended the class by doing an activity called "The Production Staff". In this activity, we were given situations that could possibly happen during rehearsal and the show and we had to determine who would handle it.

Theatre I 3rd Period

Today we are catching up since Christmas on our blogs. Today we prepared for our test tomorrow. We did that by doing an activity. The activity was for us to write which person would deal with the problem. An example would be that "There are no paper towels in the restroom" that would be House Manager because they deal with the house. During the month of December we did Christmas plays in front of our peers.

So pretty much we just came in and did the bellringer.

Theatre 1 7th period 11-8-16

In the start of class, we had to take our stars of the stage. We also had to get our notebooks because every morning we have a bell ringer to put in it. We had to copy down a definition too, to put in our note section of our notebooks. Next, we did the Alphabet Olympics!!!! We battled it to the end and A.C. won! Last but not least we are using quizlet to study for our test tomorrow until, the bell rings to go to club time!

Theatre Rotation
We had our very first lesson today with the new rotation group. We learned about the different types of theatre: musicals, tragedy, comedy, mystery, drama.
