Today we talked about sound, costumes, and makeup. We are choosing which one of the three we want to become an expert on and put it together with our play. We also watched videos on each of the three topics and saw how they were used in the play Wicked.

Theatre I, 3rd period

Today in class, we have were learning about the lights and light crews. We took notes on what the different type of lights do. We also took notes on what they look like, and we learned what type of lights we have, their exspenses, and how they are to be used. Throughout class, we looked a our catwalk, sound booth, and our curtain rod/curtains. We also had some memories on when we last went to the auditorium. Tomorrow we are going to the auditorium.

First we came into the classroom, and did our bellringer, and then we took a good bit of notes on the different types of lights for the theater, which was pretty cool, and learned what they are used for. so far its a good unit.

Today in theatre 1 we learned about the different lights stages use for plays and their different purposes. For example the Ellipsoidal light is used for long distances with a smaller beam. We also learned about the Fresnel light that has a stronger beam and gels can be put onto/into the light.

Set Design
We've spent the week in the computer lab creating digital representations of the sketched floorplans we created last week. We only had to create one set from our script. Then, we created a summary of our script and a trigger image for our upcoming Aurasma project.

First off we came in here and did a bellringer on what are set piece will look like. Second we opened our notebooks to our note section and watch video on how to use sketch up. Last we got to get with our partners and talk obout what our set piece needs to look like.
